NESC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities. In fact, it is required by federal regulations (including Title IX) not to do so. This protection extends to employment.

Additionally, NESC provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.

Any person may report discrimination or harassment (including sexual harassment) in phone, by mail, by telephone, or by electronic mail, at any time, to the Title IX and 504 coordinator listed to the right. Inquiries about the application of Title IX to NESC may be made to the Title IX and 504 Coordinator or to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights of the Department of Education (or both).

More information about NESC's harassment policies and grievance procedures may be found in NESC's policies (found on the "board of directors" page of this site).
